I am a little different from your “normal” Bookkeeper in that I take an active interest in the businesses that I am managing. This enables me to support my clients with a number of business decisions in relation to financial matters, growth possibilities, expense control and revenue increases.
I am a qualified Bookkeeper (member of the Taxation Practitioners Board and Institute of Certified Bookkeepers) I am also a Registered BAS Agent with the ATO. I have in excess of 10 years’ experience of being self employed as a Bookkeeper and General Administration Manager for more than 30 clients.
Prior to my bookkeeping career, I was in Banking and Finance for 10 years. I had Corporate and Commercial Banking roles that made me realise the lack of support there was for the self-employed business owners and just how many hats they wore on a daily basis. It’s interesting, to say the least, to be sitting on the other side of the table now!
Outside of my business I spend many hours on the side of a field watching my son play
football – soccer to some. Other than that you will find me on my off-road motorbike
adventuring around this beautiful country we live in.
